Pontsteiger is the south-side landing in the Houthavens.
Paid street parking around €6.98/hour.
Houthavens / Pontsteiger is Amsterdam tariefgebied 2: about €6.98/hour Monday–Saturday 09:00–24:00; Sunday is free on this regime. The on-site Pontsteigergarage is for permit holders, not public short-stay.
Park at Distelweg or NDSM (about €1.72/hour) and take the free F6 or F7 ferry.

Pontsteiger stands on the edge of the Old Houthaven, Amsterdam’s historic timber harbour. The harbour was dug in 1876 and grew into an important trans-shipment place as wood from Scandinavia, the Baltic region, Russia and beyond arrived in Amsterdam.
The waterfront has changed from working harbour to residential district, yet its maritime past remains visible in the area’s design and public art. The landing now links the former timber port with Amsterdam Noord’s industrial heritage and new waterfront districts.
