This privacy policy explains how Pont handles information when you use the app or this website.
What Pont does
Pont shows ferry departures, route information, and service disruptions so you can follow the crossings that matter to you.
Information we collect
Pont does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. The app may store your favorite routes and app preferences on your device so the app can remember them.
Information from ferry data providers
Pont fetches timetable and disruption information from external transport data sources. Those requests are used to provide the service and are not used by Pont to identify you.
Analytics and tracking
Pont uses optional PostHog analytics in the app to understand usage, including views and clicks for ads shown on the Favorites screen. Events may be associated with an app installation. You can turn off analytics in the app settings; when opted out, Pont does not measure your ad views or clicks. Pont does not share these event records with advertisers.
Data sharing
Pont does not sell personal data. We only share information when required to operate the app, comply with the law, or protect the service.
Your choices
You can turn off analytics in the app settings. You can remove locally saved favorites or preferences by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Pont changes. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
