1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pont app or this website, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, do not use Pont.

2. What Pont is

Pont shows scheduled Amsterdam ferry departures, route information, and current service disruptions. It is an information tool only and is not a ticketing, booking, payment, or navigation service for ferry travel.

3. Not affiliated with GVB or ferry operators

Pont is an independent app. It is not endorsed by, operated by, or officially connected to GVB or any ferry operator. Ferry line and operator names are used only to identify routes and crossings.

4. No guarantee of accuracy

Timetable and disruption data comes from third-party transport sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Do not rely solely on Pont for time-critical travel; always allow a margin and check official sources when timing matters.

5. Eligibility

You must be able to enter into a binding agreement to use Pont. If you are a minor, you may only use Pont and make any purchases with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

6. Acceptable use

Pont is for personal, lawful use only. You may not scrape, copy, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the data or the app, nor interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

7. Pro Access and payments

Pro Access unlocks enhanced features such as widgets and is offered as a time-limited or lifetime purchase. Favorite routes and timetable information inside the app remain available without payment. All purchases, billing, and renewals are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms, and any refunds are handled according to their policies, not ours.

8. Right of withdrawal for digital purchases

Pro Access is digital content delivered immediately. By completing a purchase and requesting immediate access, you expressly agree that performance begins right away and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has started.

9. Changes to and discontinuation of the service

We may modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue Pont, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. You are not entitled to any refund, compensation, or damages if the service is changed, limited, or discontinued, including for time-limited or lifetime Pro Access purchases.

10. App Store and Google Play

This agreement is between you and OdO Holding B.V., not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app, its content, or any support, and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Pont. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You must also comply with the applicable app store terms of service.

11. Intellectual property

The Pont app, its name, design, and original content are owned by OdO Holding B.V. and are protected by intellectual property laws. The underlying transit and timetable data remains the property of its respective providers. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Pont.

12. Privacy

Your use of Pont is also governed by our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms and explains how we handle information.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

Pont is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OdO Holding B.V. is not liable for missed ferries, indirect or consequential loss, or any damages arising from your use of Pont or your reliance on its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Pont if you breach these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using Pont at any time by uninstalling the app.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when Pont changes. The current version will always be posted on this page, and your continued use of Pont after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

18. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and OdO Holding B.V. regarding Pont. These terms are available in English and Dutch; in case of any conflict between the versions, the Dutch version prevails.
